Functions of the Central bank
 
 

The main functions of the bank include:

- promote sound monetary policies within the framework of economic objectives
- manage exchange rate policy and the official reserves
- safeguarding the integrity and efficiency of the financial sector
- Advise government on monetary and fiscal policies
- Banker top government
- conducting research in economic matters
